Stoney Creek Sweeps Competition to Capture 2026 City Cup Championship The Stoney Creek High School varsity volleyball team brought home the 2026 City Cup championship with a perfect performance, defeating Rochester Hills, Lutheran Northwest and Rochester Adams in straight sets. The Cougars finished the quad with a 3-0 match record, winning all six sets they played. Each matchup ended in a 2-0 victory for Stoney Creek, giving the team a clean sweep of the field and the City Cup title. Against a lineup of area opponents, the Cougars left no need for a deciding third set. Their victories over Rochester Hills, Lutheran Northwest and Rochester Adams made the quad a standout achievement in Stoney Creek’s 2026 season—and gave the team plenty to celebrate.
