Stoney Creek Volleyball Earns a Win at Thursday Night Quad The Stoney Creek High School varsity volleyball team continued its busy season Thursday night, competing in another quad against Saint Mary’s, Toledo Central Catholic and Divine Child. The Cougars opened the evening with a loss to a strong Saint Mary’s team. Stoney Creek regrouped quickly, however, and responded with a solid victory over Toledo Central Catholic. The win demonstrated the team’s resilience and ability to bounce back after a difficult opening match. Stoney Creek finished the quad against Divine Child. Although the Cougars battled throughout the match, Divine Child came away with the victory. Despite finishing the evening with a 1–2 record, the Cougars gained more valuable game experience against quality competition. The team continues to show improvement, determination and a willingness to compete, all of which will be important as the season moves forward.
