Cougars Battle Strong Competition at Bloomfield Hills Varsity Volleyball Quad The Stoney Creek High School varsity volleyball team faced a challenging field at the Bloomfield Hills Varsity Volleyball Quad, competing against Bloomfield Hills, Mercy, and South Lyon. The Cougars opened the event with a strong performance against host Bloomfield Hills, earning a two-set victory. Stoney Creek played with confidence and consistency, setting a positive tone for the evening. The Cougars then faced a talented Mercy team and fell in two sets. Despite the loss, the girls continued to compete hard and showed determination against a strong opponent. Stoney Creek finished the quad with a close three-set match against South Lyon. The Cougars battled throughout the match but ultimately came up just short. Although Stoney Creek finished the event with a 1-2 record, the girls played well and gained valuable experience against quality competition. The Cougars showed several positive signs and will look to build on those performances as the season continues.
